Maintenance Technician – Production Support

Company Overview

Packaging manufacturer with 30+ years of experience is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support high-volume production operations. The company specializes in container labeling and decorative packaging services for a wide range of customers, from regional brands to large national manufacturers.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician supports production by performing machine adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs across 20+ production lines. This role assists with daily equipment setup, troubleshoots quality issues during shifts, and supports installation and commissioning of new and existing machinery.

Reports directly to Plant Leadership and works closely with shift supervisors.

Requirements

• 3+ years manufacturing maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Comfortable climbing ladders and platforms

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs

• Comfortable working in loud, warm, humid environments

• Strong attendance and work ethic

• Positive attitude with pride in workmanship

Preferred Skills

• Experience with packaging machinery (labelers, steam tunnels, unscramblers, etc.)

• Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship or technical certification

• Welding experience

• Forklift experience

• Boiler maintenance experience

Compensation

• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Performance review with raise potential after 90 days

• Weekly pay
