Job Title / Position Summary

A growing, innovation-driven medical manufacturing organization is seeking a Sourcing Lead with experience in highly regulated, precision component environments. This individual will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, driving cost improvement initiatives, and ensuring supply continuity for critical components and finished products.

The ideal candidate will bring approximately five years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a regulated manufacturing environment and possess both strategic sourcing capability and hands-on execution skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives for precision components, raw materials, and finished assemblies within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business growth, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align supplier capabilities with product development and production requirements.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to achieve year-over-year cost improvements.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through alternate sourcing strategies and capacity planning.

  • Drive continuous supplier performance improvement in quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Leverage data analytics to monitor spend, forecast demand, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies relevant to precision-engineered products.


Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing or supply chain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, machining, coatings, and assembly.

  • Experience working under cGMP and ISO-regulated systems.

  • Demonstrated negotiation and contract management experience.

  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
