CNC Swiss Machinist – 1st Shift

Job Overview:

A medical device manufacturer is seeking a skilled Swiss Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Star Swiss-type machines and producing complex, tight-tolerance components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines (Star or similar).

• Interpret engineering blueprints and detailed machining instructions.

• Monitor tool wear, adjust offsets, and ensure consistent part quality.

• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a clean work area.

• Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize machining processes.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating Swiss-type CNC machines.

• Experience in medical device, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining fundamentals.

• Ability to work independently and meet quality standards.
