Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families, managing a wide variety of medical conditions across the lifespan. General Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages (for Family Medicine) or adults (for Internal Medicine), including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
  • Perform routine physical exams, screenings, and health assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and more.
  • Prescribe medications and provide counseling on lifestyle changes and wellness strategies.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, X-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with patients, offering guidance and support for overall health.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle choices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists to deliver coordinated care.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Adhere to quality standards and patient care protocols. 

Qualifications:

  • Able and willing to provide treatment to patients of all ages, including basic women's health.
  • Able and willing to perform well woman exams including breast exams.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Have a clean record.
  • Must be comfortable with EMR - Epic.
  • Valid state medical license in Alabama.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm
  • On-Call:  Phone call coverage rotation
