Corporate Actions Specialist | Hedge Fund

Will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of corporate action events across multiple asset classes. The role requires strong front-to-back knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment.

The Operations Specialist will ensure the accurate processing, reconciliation, and communication of corporate action events and entitlements, maintaining proper reflection across positions, cash, financing, and P&L. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a strong control framework and minimizing operational risk.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant corporate actions experience, preferably within a hedge fund, prime broker, or investment manager environment
• Strong front-to-back knowledge of corporate action event types and lifecycle processing
• Solid understanding of P&L, position management, and financing impacts related to corporate actions
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large dataset reconciliation, modeling)
• Python or automation experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational risk through strong controls and proactive break resolution
• Confident communicator with experience interacting directly with traders, PMs, and external counterparties
• High attention to detail with strong ownership mentality
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented hedge fund environment
