The Controller is responsible for leading all accounting, financial reporting, and planning activities at the site level. This role partners closely with site leadership and corporate finance to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective forecasting, and continuous improvement across operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership experience within a complex industrial or manufacturing environment and has a strong command of FP&A, cost accounting, ERP systems, and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, ideally within a public company environment.
- Proven experience in mining, industrial, or manufacturing operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
- Strong FP&A experience, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Experience with construction or capital project accounting, including agile or lean practices.
- Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, and supporting ERP systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Working knowledge of tax and transfer pricing issues.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS accounting standards and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, OneNote, and Teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
