Safety Coordinator | 2nd Shift (3:00pm to 12:00am)

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for partnering with plant leadership to promote and sustain a proactive safety culture by identifying and eliminating hazards before incidents occur. This role supports the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (assembly, machine shop, or similar setting)
• Supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced facility
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (highly preferred)
• Safety training experience
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong multitasking skills and highly organized
• Comfortable working in strong smells, loud, hot/cold, refrigerated, and freezer environments
• Willingness and ability to work 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 12:00am) and weekends as needed
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Undergraduate degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field
• CPE, CSP, or CIH certification
