Overview

Mosaic Partners is recruiting experienced attorneys for multiple opportunities with a highly regarded, full-service California law firm.

We are interested in speaking with attorneys ranging from experienced Associates through Senior Attorneys, Counsel and Partner-level candidates across several sophisticated transactional, litigation, tax and private-client practices.

These opportunities offer attorneys the ability to handle complex matters for a diverse client base that includes public and privately held companies, middle-market businesses, financial institutions and capital providers, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.

Compensation

Compensation varies based on practice area, seniority, experience and individual qualifications.

Current Associate and Senior Attorney opportunities generally offer base salaries ranging from approximately $230,000 to $350,000.

Certain associate positions may also provide significant discretionary performance-based bonuses, including additional compensation associated with hours billed and collected above established performance thresholds and credit for originated business.

Partner and Counsel compensation is determined individually based on experience, practice profile, client relationships, business generation and other relevant considerations.

For Associate-level opportunities, candidates should generally have 3+ years of relevant corporate transactional experience.

Associate Compensation: Approximately $230,000 to $350,000 base

Seeking attorneys with sophisticated transactional tax experience who can advise businesses, investors, family offices and high-net-worth clients.

Relevant experience may include:

• Tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions
• Acquisitions and dispositions
• Joint ventures
• Financings and restructurings
• Partnership, S corporation and C corporation taxation
• Transaction-document tax provisions
• Pre-transaction restructuring
• Corporate and partnership reorganizations
• Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS)
• Section 1031 exchanges
• State and local tax matters
• Business structuring and strategic tax planning

Associate candidates should generally have 3+ years of transactional tax experience.

Experienced Counsel and Partner-level transactional tax attorneys are also encouraged to inquire. Partner | Counsel compensation will depend on experience, practice profile and other relevant factors.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

We are interested in speaking with accomplished Commercial Real Estate attorneys at the Counsel and Partner levels.

Ideal candidates will possess substantial experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate matters and have the ability to work directly with clients on complex transactions.

Attorneys with established industry relationships, demonstrated business-development capabilities and/or portable business are particularly encouraged to inquire.

Compensation: Competitive and dependent upon seniority, experience, practice profile and business-generation capabilities.

Commercial Litigation Attorneys

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Associate Compensation: Approximately $270,000 to $325,000 base

Seeking attorneys with 4+ years of broad-based litigation experience.

Desired experience includes:

• Commercial litigation
• Breach of contract disputes
• Tortious interference matters
• Breach of fiduciary duty
• Motion practice
• Taking and defending depositions
• Trial preparation
• Legal research and sophisticated drafting

Additional experience involving real estate, land use, trusts and estates or intellectual property litigation is beneficial.

California Bar admission required.

Location: San Francisco, CA
Associate Compensation: Approximately $260,000 to $275,000 base

Seeking attorneys with 5+ years of land use and/or environmental law experience.

Relevant matters may include:

• Land and natural-resource development
• CEQA and NEPA
• Regulatory and administrative proceedings
• Public lands
• Mining
• Air and water matters
• Energy
• Land-use litigation
• Real estate-related transactions

Experience with land-use litigation, public lands and/or real estate transactions is particularly valuable.

California Bar admission required.

Compensation: Approximately $275,000 to $325,000 base

Seeking a senior Trusts & Estates attorney with approximately 10+ years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families.

Desired experience includes:

• Sophisticated estate planning
• Trust administration
• Revocable trusts
• Irrevocable trusts
• Drafting complex estate-planning documents
• High-net-worth and family wealth planning

Large-law-firm experience and an LL.M. in Taxation are preferred.

California Bar admission required.
