Hyperion Business Systems Analyst | Lead Oracle EPM

Seeking an experienced Hyperion Business Systems Analyst | Lead Oracle EPM to join its team. This strategic financial systems organization owns and operates critical applications - including Oracle Financials, Oracle EPM, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase - that support Firm’s businesses globally.

This role combines functional expertise, hands-on application development, and project leadership to deliver scalable solutions for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocations, and management reporting.

Working closely with the CFO and stakeholders across FP&A, Tax, Human Resources, and Technology, you will translate complex business requirements into sustainable system solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep Hyperion Planning and Essbase expertise, full-cycle implementation experience, strong executive presence, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior financial leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least seven years of hands-on experience with Hyperion or Oracle EPM technologies in complex, global business environments.
• Strong experience developing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
• Experience leading or playing a significant role in at least one full-cycle Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM implementation.
• Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills, including the ability to work closely with the CFO and present complex system concepts clearly to senior leadership.
• Experience across the complete implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, training, and post-production support.
• Strong experience with allocation models, calculation scripts, business rules, multidimensional databases, data integrations, security administration, and reporting solutions.
• Working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocations, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable functional and technical solutions.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating onsite, offshore, and third-party resources.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Experience supporting an on-premises-to-cloud migration or financial systems transformation.
• Relevant certifications in Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle EPM Cloud, PMP, Six Sigma, or a related area.
• Additional experience with EPMA, DRM, FDMEE, or Web Analysis.

This role will sit HYBRID in Purchase, NY, with approximately 5% travel. After-hours or on-call support may be required during critical financial-processing periods.
