Senior Financial Analyst | Plant Manufacturing

The Senior Financial Analyst - Plant Manufacturing plays a critical role in supporting the Controller by ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly, and annual financial and operational results. This role partners closely with plant operations and leadership to deliver meaningful financial analysis, operational insights, and performance metrics that support strategic and data-driven decision-making.

Designed as a succession role for the Controller, this position provides broad exposure to financial planning, reporting, and operational finance, positioning the successful candidate for future leadership within the finance organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar financial analysis role, preferably within a plant or manufacturing environment
• In-depth understanding of standard costing methodologies and variance analysis
• Proven experience with inventory valuation, reconciliations, and movement analysis
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and operational finance metrics
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP preferred)
• Hands-on experience tracking and analyzing capital expenditures
• Advanced experience preparing financial reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics
• Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit support
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to connect financial data to business strategy, identify trends, and assess risks and opportunities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to independently lead reporting cycles, projects, and improvements
• Demonstrated accountability, attention to detail, and strong execution discipline
