Seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Corporate Actions to lead and oversee all corporate action processing for DTCC-eligible equity securities, including both mandatory and voluntary events. This individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing across the full corporate actions lifecycle, while partnering closely with Trading, Operations, Compliance, and external custodians.
The ideal candidate brings deep subject matter expertise in corporate actions, strong DTCC knowledge, and a proven ability to manage risk, drive process improvements, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of corporate actions experience, with a strong focus on DTCC-eligible equities.
- Deep understanding of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions processing.
- Strong working knowledge of Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) systems, including CA Web and related platforms.
- Experience interacting with custodians, brokers, and market utilities.
- Proven ability to manage complex event lifecycles, including elections and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience within a buy-side firm, hedge fund, or asset manager.
- Exposure to global corporate actions and multi-asset environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools, data platforms, or process optimization initiatives.
