Tooling & Die Fabrication Technician– 1st and 3rd Shift 

• 3 or more years of experience constructing and repairing tools using hand tools, manual mills, and lathes to ensure precision and functionality is a requirement for this position
• Pay is up to $45/hour
• First Shift is min. 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (typically 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Mon-Fri)
• May require 10-hour shifts, 5 days/wk or occasional Saturday shifts depending on demand
• Third Shift is 10-hour shifts, 4-5 days a week (typically from 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• Full-time, permanent W-2 employee

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Interpret work orders, 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine job requirements and collaborate with team members, Foreman, Project Manager, and Designers
• Complete tool builds and repairs to customer specifications, stage components for assembly, and set up and operate machines (manual mills, lathes, grinders) to meet desired specifications
• Inspect finished workpieces, perform maintenance on equipment, and assist in mentoring apprentices and interns
• Propose improvements in mold design, production methods, and equipment performance while collaborating with Toolmakers and Machinists for efficiency
• Manage shipping/receiving for related tooling components, maintain a clean workspace, engage in 6S activities, and communicate job priorities and updates to team members
