Controls & Automation Tech– 3rd Shift 

  • 2 or more years of hands-on experience with industrial equipment, automation, or power distribution within a manufacturing setting is required for this position
  • A.S. degree (or two years of equivalent experience) in Electromechanical, Automation, Electronics, or a related field is necessary
  • Pay is at $37/hr for a highly qualified candidate
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote, this is on-site
  • Full-time, permanent, W-2 employee

This full-time, permanent Controls & Automation Technician is at a trusted and well-established commercial product manufacturer that values its employees, fosters a supportive work environment, and prioritizes professional growth and development. The company is consistently growing and they are always bringing in new, state-of-the-art robots for the continually expanding manufacturing facilities. Unlike many manufacturers, they build their own equipment for their manufacturing facilities. There are a lot of promotional opportunities to move up or to go into other areas of the company.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

  • Diagnose and repair basic electrical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems, including laser applications and calibrations
  • Stay current with manufacturing safety practices and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Respond to maintenance requests, follow up on repairs, complete preventative maintenance tasks, and participate in 5S activities
  • Maintain clear communication with team members, document work in CMMS, and report issues to supervisors
  • Support project work, assist with complex tasks, coordinate part requests, and collaborate with OEM technical service

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:

  • 2 or more years of hands-on experience with industrial equipment, automation, or power distribution within a manufacturing setting is a requirement for this positions
  • A.S. degree (or two years of equivalent experience) in Electromechanical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field is necessary
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
