Experience
5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with deep backend expertise.
Minimum 2 years operating at a Senior Engineer level—building and shipping features in distributed systems.
Prior full-stack experience is a plus, though the role is backend-leaning.
Hands-on experience with different databases, asynchronous architectures, and performance optimization.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or C# for backend development.
Familiarity with Ember, React, or TypeScript on the frontend.
Strong knowledge of Postgres databases and AWS infrastructure.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top-tier program.
Mindset
Strong ownership mentality—you build it, you own it.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and using sound judgment to drive clarity.
Thoughtful collaborator with an eye for quality, scalability, and long-term impact.
This position is based in San Francisco; candidates must already reside locally.
The role offers the opportunity to work on one of the fastest-growing products within the company, directly shaping the experience of thousands of workplaces worldwide.
