Job Title: IT & OT Software and Applications Manager

Reports To: IT Director

The Opportunity

We are seeking an IT & OT Software and Applications Manager who can bridge technology with business outcomes. This leader will guide a team of developers, application specialists, and data scientists in building and supporting the tools that keep operations running and move the business forward. The right candidate combines hands-on technical knowledge with the ability to shape strategy, motivate teams, and deliver results that matter.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the team — set direction, develop talent, and create an environment where developers, analysts, and data scientists can do their best work.

• Own the software landscape — ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred), custom applications, and data platforms. Ensure they are stable, secure, and designed to grow with the business.

• Be a translator — connect IT, OT, and business needs to create practical solutions that solve real problems.

• Drive delivery — use agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with business priorities.

• Measure success — define the right KPIs and OKRs, monitor progress, and make adjustments quickly.

• Support adoption — oversee training, troubleshooting, and system improvements so tools deliver real value to end users.

• Keep it secure — enforce compliance, secure coding, and data privacy across all platforms.

• Stay ahead — bring forward ideas from new technologies, including AI and data-driven approaches, that improve how we operate.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of proven team management experience (leading 15–25+ IT professionals).

• 7–10 years in software development or application management.

• Hands-on experience with .NET, JavaScript, and AI software development tools.

• Manufacturing experience is required.

• ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred).

• Strong background in agile development practices, system security, and data-driven projects.

• Experience leading data science initiatives—analytics, machine learning, and governance.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and enterprise architecture.

• Experience applying AI tools to ERP or custom software environments.
