(REMOTE) Sr. Commercial Litigation Counsel
Join an elite group of legal professionals as a Senior Commercial Litigation Counsel, operating from the comfort of your home while making essential court appearances. We are seeking a seasoned litigator with a focus on securities defense, regulatory enforcement, and complex business litigation. Priority is given to candidates licensed in FL, TX, PA, OH, MI, CA, or NY, with a pressing need in Florida and Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other critical legal documents.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to safeguard client interests.
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
- Advise clients on legal risks and business strategies related to litigation matters.
- Oversee discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar License in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 4-9 years of experience in commercial litigation and business disputes.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with broker-dealer disputes, securities matters, and regulatory enforcement actions.
- Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms.
- Knowledge of current legal trends and developments in commercial litigation.
