Global Supply Chain Director (VP Succession Plan)
Compensation: $240,000 - $250,000 + PAID Relocation
The Global Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple regions worldwide. This leadership role involves strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the company’s business objectives. The position oversees the regional supply chain organizations.

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with corporate goals.

Lead the design and execution of supply chain initiatives to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Monitor global market trends, risks, and opportunities to proactively adjust supply chain strategies.

Supply Chain Operations Management:

Oversee material and production planning, inventory management across all regions.

Ensure supply chain processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Drive capacity planning to meet customer requirements and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global supply chain team.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Manage organizational structure and resource allocation to support business needs.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.

Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making.

Report on supply chain performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Technology and Innovation:

Leverage supply chain technologies (ERP, dashboards, analytics tools) to enhance visibility and control.

Promote adoption of digital transformation initiatives and automation to improve supply chain agility.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role.

Proven track record of supply chain transformation and corresponding results in complex, multi-regional supply chains.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, and production planning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with supply chain software and data analytics tools.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage cross-cultural teams.
