Location: This is a fully remote role based in North Carolina. We are open on location within the state for the right candidate.
Note: To be considered, you must have at least 6 years of North Carolina foreclosure experience and be able to independently handle foreclosure matters from start to finish, including contested matters.

Job Description
- Manage North Carolina foreclosure matters from referral through resolution
- Handle the full lifecycle of foreclosure files, including contested matters
- Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, notices, affidavits, and related legal documents
- Appear in court hearings and manage litigation strategy as needed
- Provide clear legal analysis, risk assessment, and case updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with North Carolina law and applicable deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and operations staff to keep files moving smoothly
- Support process improvement, workflow oversight, and overall strength of the North Carolina foreclosure practice
- Contribute to client relationship growth and business development efforts if applicable
Qualifications
- 6+ years of North Carolina foreclosure experience
- Strong experience handling foreclosure matters from start to finish
- Experience with contested foreclosure matters required
- Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina
- Strong drafting, litigation, and file management skills
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Creditors’ rights, landlord-tenant, real estate litigation, bankruptcy, or related experience is a plus
- Portable business is a plus
