Job Description

  • Represent school districts and BOCES on capital construction matters
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with architects and construction managers
  • Assist clients with bid documents, contract awards, and project closeouts
  • Advise on legal issues during construction administration
  • Resolve disputes related to public construction projects

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction law
  • Familiarity with AIA Contract Documents
  • Strong writing and legal research skills
  • Excellent client communication and advocacy abilities
  • Collaborative team player
