LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Huntington, WV

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Litigation practice group in Huntington. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice with experienced litigators who handle a diverse range of cases.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Bar Admission in West Virginia (strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of substantive experience in commercial and/or complex litigation.
• Skilled in preparing for, taking, and defending depositions.
• Proficient in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Interest in general corporate and transactional matters beyond litigation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial litigation, class actions/mass torts, product liability, appellate work, and more.
• Participate in litigation proceedings at both the state and federal levels.
• Develop case strategies and manage all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored legal solutions.
