Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role requires a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Pivot Tables and requires experience with Oracle accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions

Research, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in financial records and accounts

Perform reconciliations between sub-systems and the general ledger

Prepare journal entries, cost transfers, and financial reports

Maintain and update spreadsheets, including cash flow and investment tracking

Process daily cash transactions and record entries in accounting systems
-
Reconcile daily cash and investment activity across multiple systems

Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries

Prepare accounts payable cash requirements and reconcile related documentation

Maintain financial documentation such as property, escrow, or ownership records

Assist with internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation

Respond to internal requests and coordinate issue resolution

Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 2–3+ years of relevant accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables

Experience with enterprise accounting systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)

Comfortable working with high-volume data entry and spreadsheet analysis
