Technical Recruiter

Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, interview, and qualify candidates for contract, temporary, and contract-to-hire roles within the local market. This is a full-cycle recruiting position responsible for managing the candidate process from initial sourcing through placement.
The Technical Recruiter will spend the majority of the day communicating with job seekers by phone, email, video, and in person. This role requires building strong relationships with candidates, understanding their skills and career goals, coaching them through the interview process, and matching them with opportunities that align with their experience, personality, and professional objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, resourceful, competitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, personal initiative, and the ability to evaluate both resumes and people.
Key Responsibilities
- Source prospective candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools.
- Post open positions on job boards and other recruiting platforms.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews with prospective candidates.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, communication style, professionalism, and overall fit for available opportunities.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by reviewing resumes, discussing client needs, providing interview coaching, and conducting mock interviews when needed.
- Follow up with candidates after interviews to recap feedback, discuss next steps, and maintain engagement.
- Extend job offers and support candidates throughout the offer and acceptance process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates on assignment to ensure they have the support and information they need.
- Proactively cold call and outreach to prospective candidates to build a strong recruiting pipeline.
- Partner with internal teams to discuss open roles, candidate activity, recruiting priorities, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, notes, and activity within internal recruiting systems.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates to support future placement opportunities.
