Role Overview

We are seeking a PEGA Technical Project Manager to support Pega CDH decisioning initiatives across business, marketing, technology, and operations teams. This role will help translate business and marketing requirements into decisioning logic used to deliver relevant and eligible customer offers across digital, CRM, and customer-facing channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub/CDH, business requirements documentation, marketing technology, testing, data analysis, and cross-functional project coordination. This person should be comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams to manage requirements, support governance, validate system changes, and ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and marketing requirements into decisioning logic and technical requirements.

  • Support the development, execution, and documentation of decisioning strategies within a Pega CDH environment.

  • Partner with technology teams to communicate requirements, clarify scope, validate technical delivery, and support defect resolution.

  • Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, decisioning logic documentation, testing materials, and project documentation.

  • Support governance processes for decisioning changes from ideation through production.

  • Maintain documentation in collaboration tools and project management platforms.

  • Translate marketing offer strategies into decisioning logic based on customer attributes, eligibility rules, and customer intent.

  • Develop test cases for marketing offer strategies and decisioning logic changes.

  • Execute UAT, regression testing, and validation of decisioning system changes.

  • Identify, document, and investigate defects or logic failures.

  • Analyze decisioning transactions and data to validate outcomes, identify trends, and uncover potential issues.

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, project summaries, and stakeholder updates.

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Finance, IT, and other business teams.

  • Support continuous improvement of decisioning processes, documentation standards, and governance workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, Marketing Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, Decisioning, Business Analysis, CRM, Technical Project Management, or a related technical/business role.

  • Experience with or strong knowledge of Pega Customer Decision Hub/CDH.

  • Experience creating, documenting, and managing business requirements.

  • Experience working with Agile project methodologies; Waterfall experience is also helpful.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.

  • Ability to translate business strategy into logic-based requirements and system behavior.

  • Experience supporting UAT, regression testing, test case creation, and defect resolution.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing databases, digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, or orchestration tools such as Pega, Adobe, Unica, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar systems.

  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS, or similar data analysis tools.

  • Understanding of programming logic, algorithms, or languages such as Java, C, PHP, or similar.

  • Experience reading, interpreting, or validating XML transactions or API-based system responses.

  • Experience with retail, customer care, call center, or CRM environments.

  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically capable project professional with hands-on experience supporting Pega CDH or similar marketing decisioning platforms. They should be able to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, manage requirements clearly, coordinate with multiple teams, and validate that decisioning logic performs as expected.

This person should be organized, adaptable, analytical, and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment

This role operates in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and may require occasional travel. Typical working hours are standard business hours, with some flexibility depending on project needs and stakeholder time zones.
