Data Platform Engineer
This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted. This role is onsite near Tustin, CA.

Own and operate the Databricks platform, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, compute resources, policies, and environment configuration.

Manage Unity Catalog, metastores, catalogs, schemas, permissions, grants, secrets, and access controls across users, groups, and service principals.

Build and maintain repeatable platform automation using Terraform, Bicep, APIs, CLI tools, or similar infrastructure-as-code practices.

Monitor platform performance, reliability, usage, cost, and job health, and implement alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Support Delta Lake architecture, storage optimization, table design, lifecycle management, and platform governance best practices.

Partner with data engineering, cloud, architecture, and security teams to support migrations, optimize workloads, enable self-service, and establish scalable Databricks platform standards.
