Account Executive
This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted. This role is onsite near Pleasant Hill, CA.
We are seeking a polished and relationship-driven Account Executive to manage high-value client relationships and complex commercial sales opportunities. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, guiding opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, close, and post-sale handoff.
The ideal candidate has strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships and sales opportunities with discipline and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with high-value commercial clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close
- Partner with internal technical and operational teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions
- Translate technical information into clear business value for clients
- Represent the organization in client meetings, presentations, and industry events
- Negotiate deal terms while maintaining strong client relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity tracking, pipeline updates, and forecasting
- Ensure smooth handoffs to internal teams after a deal is closed
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support successful delivery and long-term client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Experience in account management, business development, or full-cycle sales
- Professional presence and ability to build trust with senior-level clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities at once
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand specifications, proposals, or solution-based sales
- Experience in a technical industry such as engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technology preferred
- Strong negotiation, follow-through, and CRM discipline
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in an autonomous environment
