Position Overview

Were seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Director to lead revenue growth and client engagement across the Oil & Gas sector. This is an ideal opportunity for a consultative sales leader with deep domain expertise, a hunter mentality, and a proven ability to close complex service-based deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales revenue from engineering and technology service offerings to clients and prospects within the assigned region.

  • Travel regionally and nationally to pursue and secure target accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Oil & Gas customers (Upstream/Downstream).

  • Develop and execute compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Identify, qualify, and develop legitimate sales opportunities with a consultative, value-driven approach.

  • Negotiate contractual terms and ensure seamless transitions to proposal and technical delivery teams.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to support continuous growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align offerings with client objectives.

  • Drive account strategy and build long-term relationships with prospective clients.

  • Represent the organization as a strategic partner capable of delivering engineering excellence and digital innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12-15 years total, with a minimum of 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 3+ years in a similar business development role.
  • Deep understanding of the Upstream/Downstream segments within Oil & Gas, with a track record of successful engineering service sales.
  • Proven success in selling service-based, brownfield project execution contracts. Experience in winning high-value, non-product-based deals.
  • Ability to engage C-level stakeholders and build long-lasting strategic relationships.
  • Experience selling complex solutions via a value-driven, collaborative process.
  • Ability to assess client needs, build tailored solutions, and guide decision-making at the executive level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Understands business drivers, metrics, and organizational behavior to shape and influence client priorities.
  • Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and effective in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience selling engineering services to Oil & Gas operators (Upstream/Downstream).

  • Demonstrated success with brownfield project execution bids.

  • Familiarity with digital services including Control & Automation, Instrumentation, Data Analytics, and System Integration is a plus.

  • Exposure to onsite/offshore and global delivery models is highly preferred.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required
