Professional, dynamic freight forwarder is looking for an ambitious individual to process international ocean export shipments. Experience with Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) a must. 

 

Main Responsibilities:
Carry out shipping instructions for LCL, FCL and project cargo. 
Obtain, create, and distribute all required documentation.

File AES in accordance with regulations. 

Provide quotes and verify timely filing of rates. 
Reserve space and equipment, and place bookings with carriers.

Comply with all legal requirements for origin and destination.
Review accuracy of all information and fix any discrepancies.
Track and trace shipments, and advise all parties of any delays.
Provide destination with information required for clearance.
Record financial transactions for payments, billing and invoicing. 

 

Requirements:
Previous work in freight forwarding/NVOCC export operations.
Experience with roll-on/roll-off (RORO) shipments. 
Current with a-z ocean export operations procedures.

Resourceful, organized, motivated, and customer-minded.
Ability to prioritize and thrive in a busy, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.  
Must love customer service and does not wilt under pressure.
