AIR CARGO POWERHOUSE is adding a Senior Logistics Manager to their family!
This high-visibility role supports the General Manager in directing operations for air cargo loading, unloading, sorting and transportation.
Main Responsibilities:
Management of large warehouse facility and ramp operations.
Ultimate oversight of ~400 team members and leaders.
Ensure sufficient labor to process forecasted volume.
Participate in safety initiatives, training, enforcement, investigations, and program improvements.
Prepare operational data reports for internal and external analysis.
Frequent high-level communication with VIP clients and upper management.
Review, monitor, and improve operational SOPs, KPIs, and all goals and metrics.
Engage in interviewing, hiring, training, orientation, conflict resolution,
performance reviews, corrections, and disciplinary actions.
Provide mentoring, encouragement and leadership to ensure team members are happy, motivated, and contributing at the highest levels.

Requirements:
At least 5 years of management experience in logistics/supply chain/transportation/airfreight.
Knowledge of cross-dock/fulfillment/sortation operations and industry safety regulations.
Familiarity with airport environment/TSA a plus.

Strong leader capable of developing staff and obtaining buy-in for process improvements.
Enjoys mentoring, coaching, and rolling up sleeves to get job done.
Computer proficiency, including Excel, productivity reports, and data analysis.
Relationship builder with colleagues, clients and vendors of all levels.
Able to work outside of traditional business hours/days as needed.
