Boutique and growing NVOCC is looking for a talented professional to join their operations team. This high-visibility role works closely with origin offices and all business partners to handle ocean import operations and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide importer in matters of routing, rates and carrier selection.
Guide importer in matters of routing, rates and carrier selection.
Monitor timeliness of cargo ready dates and factory shipments.
Ensure suppliers book containers according to importer's SOP.
Receive and process all import documentation.
Track and trace FCL and LCL shipments, updating all parties at each stage.
Work with Customs broker to expedite clearance.
Pay vendors and ensure they have all info needed to move cargo.
Manage freight, OBL, Customs, warehouse and terminal releases.
Comply with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Arrange pickups from pier and delivery to final destination.

Maintain records of all financial transactions per file.
Main Requirements:
Experience with a freight forwarder/NVOCC, working closely with Asia on TPEB.
Command of door to door ocean import operations procedures (airfreight a plus).

Proficient in CargoWise.
Familiarity with PO Management / Origin Management Services preferred.
Resourceful problem-solver who is able to prioritize to avoid delays and penalties.
