The ideal candidate has international freight forwarding sales experience and can hit the ground running - leveraging relationships, work ethic, business acumen, and a passion for excellence to bring on new business.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop sales forecasts, strategies and reports.
Identify, qualify, contact, and close new accounts.
Respond to requests for proposals, information, and rates.
Meet or exceed assigned targets for revenue/profit/volume.
Review actual performance vs. forecast to catch shortfalls.
Use all possible tools to generate leads and pursue new business.
Work with ops to write SOPs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent company at industry events and client meetings.
Inform clients of rate, service and market developments.

Extensive experience in Trans-Pacific Eastbound (TPEB) tradelanes.
Extensive experience in Trans-Pacific Eastbound (TPEB) tradelanes.
Track record of success in a sales capacity with an NVOCC/forwarder.
Relationships that can be approached for business opportunities.

Understanding of market forces to stay ahead of the competition.
Proficient with MS Office and CRM software.
