Job Summary

The Pricing Strategy Analyst will support pricing strategy, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making across a portfolio of products and services. This role will focus heavily on developing business cases, building financial models, evaluating pricing opportunities, and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong financial and analytical skills, advanced Excel experience, and the ability to work effectively in an environment where priorities and business questions may not always be clearly defined. The position will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business cases supporting pricing initiatives, new products, customer acquisition strategies, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Build financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to evaluate business impact, profitability, and ROI.
  • Analyze pricing performance, customer behavior, promotional effectiveness, and competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate pricing alternatives and provide data-driven recommendations to business leadership.
  • Create executive-level presentations that clearly communicate findings, financial impacts, and recommended actions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Analytics teams.
  • Support pricing tests and experiments, including measurement, post-launch analysis, and recommendations.
  • Build and improve dashboards, reports, and recurring performance analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes and decision-making capabilities.
  • Leverage AI and productivity tools to accelerate research, analysis, reporting, and business processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, financial analysis, business analysis, consulting, product strategy, or analytics.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing business cases and financial models.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including forecasting and scenario modeling.
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing strategy, pricing elasticity, revenue optimization, customer segmentation, or promotional analysis.
  • Experience within subscription-based, media, streaming, telecommunications, technology, or other recurring-revenue businesses.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
  • Experience creating dashboards and executive reporting.
