Position Summary
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to design engaging, customer-facing web experiences with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, merchandising, and scalable design systems. This role combines strong visual design skills with practical UX thinking and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, production-ready digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design customer-facing web experiences, including landing pages, campaign pages, merchandising experiences, and reusable components.
- Translate business requirements and product offerings into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences.
- Create polished layouts with strong attention to typography, hierarchy, imagery, spacing, composition, and interaction.
- Develop and maintain reusable components within established Figma design systems.
- Build responsive, production-ready designs using Figma components, variants, variables, libraries, and auto layout.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of design systems and component libraries.
- Create prototypes and support A/B testing and design iteration.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, producers, and other designers from concept through launch.
- Prepare detailed, developer-ready designs and specifications.
- Apply UX, responsive design, usability, and accessibility best practices.
- Incorporate AI and emerging design tools into the creative and prototyping workflow where appropriate.
- Clearly communicate design decisions and the reasoning behind them.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in UX, product, visual, digital, or web design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality customer-facing web design and visual design work.
- Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color, composition, layout, hierarchy, and spacing.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including auto layout, components, variants, variables, and libraries.
- Experience designing responsive web experiences for production environments.
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information hierarchy, and usability.
- Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and project timelines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, subscription, or B2B web experiences.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Experience with AI-assisted creative or prototyping tools.
- Experience creating or evolving design systems.
- Motion design, animation, video, or After Effects experience.
- UX writing or content design experience.
Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, UX thinking, and examples of digital design work is required.
