IT System Administrator III

Overview
The IT Systems Administrator III supports the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise server, web, and database environments. This role works closely with senior technical staff on system operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and project-based initiatives across Windows and Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments

Assist with SQL Server database, web, and application administration

Support and maintain web platforms and services (e.g., IIS, Apache)

Assist with SharePoint system administration and site maintenance

Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades

Support multi-tier applications and new system implementations

Participate in project-based infrastructure and application initiatives

Document systems, processes, and configurations
Required Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012 or newer)

Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or newer)

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint system administration

Experience supporting web servers (IIS and Apache)

Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 4 years of experience, or

Master’s degree in a related field with 2 years of experience
