Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support day-to-day enterprise network operations in a large, distributed environment. This is a mid-level role for someone with strong networking fundamentals, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and an interest in continuing to grow technically.

The position will focus on network support, switch configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, escalations, and maintaining reliable network performance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily network operations and network-related tickets
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, connectivity, and firewall issues
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
• Create and manage VLANs, trunk ports, and Layer 2/Layer 3 configurations
• Perform firmware, software, and code upgrades
• Review and troubleshoot network configurations
• Implement network changes, including validation and rollback procedures
• Support escalated network issues across multiple locations
• Assist with network monitoring and performance troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, and related network services
• Support firewall policies and basic firewall troubleshooting
• Maintain network documentation
• Participate in occasional evening or weekend maintenance windows

Required Qualifications

• 4–7 years of network engineering or network administration experience
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, and Spanning Tree
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise switches
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar networking technologies
• Experience troubleshooting production network environments
• Ability to perform firmware and software upgrades
• Working knowledge of firewall concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Aruba switching or wireless experience
• Palo Alto firewall experience
• CCNA or equivalent networking experience
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise networks
• Exposure to BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, or SD-WAN
• Experience with packet capture and network analysis tools
• Data center networking experience

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered. CCNA or similar networking certification is a plus.
