Air Conditioning Mechanic
This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted. This role is on-site.
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Mechanic to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. This role supports multiple facilities and requires strong hands-on technical skills, reliability, and clear communication.
What You’ll Do

Inspect, maintain, repair, and install commercial HVAC equipment, including:

Split systems
-
VRF ducted and ductless systems
-
Package units
-
Heat pumps
-
Air handlers, fans, and pumps

Refrigeration equipment and air compressors

Interpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and verbal or written instructions

Perform routine and preventative maintenance inspections

Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration issues using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment

Adjust and calibrate pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical controls

Assist with installation of new HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment

Maintain safe work practices and comply with applicable safety regulations

Perform related facilities or shop duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 5 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience

Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration principles, including thermodynamics and psychrometrics

Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex HVAC systems
-
Universal EPA certification
-
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Clear, professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, and work at heights

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment

Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Willingness to work overtime and be on-call as needed

Ability to wear required protective equipment and follow safety procedures
Nice to Have

Experience with VRF systems, including service, installation, setup, and commissioning

Familiarity with systems from major HVAC manufacturers
