Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A global chemical company needs a multi-talented Electrical Maintenance Enginger
Key experience/background:
- Power distribution, switchgear, transformers, etc, - low to medium voltage
- DCS/automation - Yokogawa ideal, but similar acceptable (like DeltaV, Foxboro, etc)
- Work in chemicals/petrochemicals ideally in a medium-sized plant
- Experience with TAR
- Degree - in electrical engineering or similar required
Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance engineering work on power distribution site-wide
- Lead multiple aspects of power distribution for TAR
- Lead maintenance for site Yokogawa DCS (is not the lead process controls engineer)
- Part of a small, integrated and multi-talented maintenance engineering team on site
- Highly applied - this is a position in-plant, not office oriented
- Experience with reliability; support site reliability (RCM and the like) program upgrades
- Extensive coordination with site safety; knowledgeable about standards such as NPFA 70E.
- Split power system and automation responsibilities; consider power systems the primary focus, though the other is absolutely necessary
Required:
- BS in electrical engineering, electrical engineering tech, other engineering
- 5+ years of directly applicable experience in plants
- Extensive experience in electrical safety
- Experience in power distribution and DCS system maintenance
- Personable - you'll be part of a small team
- Will and able to work in and around operating and energized equipment in all potentially adverse conditions
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without requiring a visa/sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary at/over $145,000
