About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join an established cardiothoracic surgery team in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment focused on providing exceptional patient care.
The APP will play an integral role in the care of cardiothoracic surgery patients across the inpatient and operative settings.
Position Highlights
- Join a collaborative team consisting of 3 physicians and 2 APPs
- First assist in the operating room
- Inpatient rounding and patient management
- Hospital discharges and consultations
- Participation in a rotating call schedule
- Vein harvesting experience preferred
- Previous cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
- Strong opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Qualifications
Candidates must be one of the following:
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) currently practicing in an inpatient setting
Candidates with cardiothoracic surgery experience are strongly preferred. Relevant surgical or inpatient experience is highly valued.
Compensation & Benefits
The position offers a competitive compensation package based on qualifications and experience.
Estimated annual base salary range: $126,131 – $312,000
Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, call/standby pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, market conditions, and other factors.
