1st Shift ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY/SERVICE TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate, calibrate, and rigorously test electrical components to guarantee optimal machine performance.
  • Skillfully assemble electrical control panels, consoles, and sub-assemblies, meticulously wiring devices for flawless integration.
  • Swiftly troubleshoot any operational glitches that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Embrace exciting opportunities for international travel to service our machines globally.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to our dynamic work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a 2-year technical degree in electronics and industrial electricity or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, coupled with adeptness in utilizing electrical test equipment.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting prowess and effective communication skills are paramount.
  • Prioritize personal safety and understand the critical role it plays in the operation of our machinery.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset with flexibility for overnight travel, both domestically and overseas, at short notice.
  • Exhibit autonomy and decision-making abilities when working independently at customer facilities.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Attentive to detail, with a relentless commitment to quality and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to obtain first aid and CPR certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with low-voltage 3-phase power systems, AC & DC motor controllers, programmable controllers, industrial networks, and personal computers.

  • Thrive in a dynamic shop environment where innovation drives our operations.
  • Maintain safety standards with mandatory steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses.
  • Embrace physical demands, including the ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Be prepared for strenuous work, involving walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, or pulling.
