POSITION SUMMARY:Under the general direction of the Maintenance Area Manager, responsible for performing various tasksrequired to maintain plant equipment and the facility. These responsibilities include, but are not limitedto, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structure, and electrical systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, andrepairs, replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.- Supports TS 16949, ISO 14001 Systems.- Diagnose and adjust or repair machine malfunctions.- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, followingspecifications or blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to safety, product,process, and quality system.- Adhere to all safety regulations.- Meet or exceed established efficiency goals and MOS measurables.- Perform and document required preventative and predictive maintenance requirements.- Complete all daily assignments given by the Maintenance Area Manager.- Design and fabricate or modify equipment using the appropriate tools and equipment to assistwith ergonomic and production requirements.- Assist with the training of new Team Members.JD\Maintenance Team- Actively participates in one of the Councils or task forces and problem solving meetings.- Has the authority to stop production operations with respect to safety or quality concerns.- Treats all other Team Members with respect and dignity.- Performs other tasks as assigned.
