This Position is a 3rd shift position with a 2-2-3 schedule
The Engineering Technician is responsible for troubleshooting root cause, repair, documenting andprogramming all electronics, Automation, and hydraulic systems. These systems include thefollowing items:
*Press computer controls DOS systems Windows XP embedded. Windows 8 Windows 10
*Automation cell Networking IP/TCP protocol
*Programmable logic controller
Rockwell RS logix 500, 5000 and studio 5000 Beckhoff Twin cat 2 & 3 Modicon NXT Factory Talk View
*Robotic systems
Fanuc Handling Tool Kuka CRK2
*Hydraulic, pneumatic, steam and mechanical systems
*Motor control circuits
Programmable Soft Starts 110 VAC - 480 VAC Control circuits 24vdc-110vac 4-20 ma analog 0-10 Volt analog
*Safety Circuits
Dual chain Safety Circuits Area Scanners Light Curtains Emergency Stop circuits
The Engineering Technicians are also responsible for new equipment installations and upgradingof existing equipment for continuous improvement. Engineering Technicians will help writefault recovery work instruction and will assist in writing preventive maintenance work orders forall equipment. Engineering Technicians are responsible for all equipment documentationincluding but not limited to electrical/ Hydraulic schematics, PLC, HMI, Press and RobotPrograms.
Function: Programmable Logic Controller installation and repair PLC ladder logic programming, design and diagnostics Troubleshooting of all plant equipment
Robotics system and interface design, installation, and general programming Electronics monitoring systems, design, installation, and general programming. Servo control systems, troubleshooting, and repair (including hydraulic systems) Documentation of all plant equipment: electrical, ladder logic, hydraulic and mechanical prints PLC, Robotic and Press system software backups Support plant safety rules, workforce contract and Teijin automotive policies and procedures, Manage various capital equipment upgrades and installations.
