Senior Paralegal – General Practice

A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Paralegal – General Practice to provide high-level support to attorneys on complex corporate matters while assisting with administrative and departmental initiatives. The role will support the full lifecycle of corporate transactions, including M&A, capital financings, public offerings, and business entity matters.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-level paralegal support to lawyers on complex client matters.
- Support the full lifecycle of corporate transactions, including M&A, capital financings, and public offerings.
- Assist with the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporations, LLCs, LPs, and other business entities.
- Assist with drafting, preparing, and filing registration statements and other SEC filings.
- Conduct EDGAR and UCC searches and order good standing certificates.
- Assist with corporate governance documentation, due diligence reviews, and stock certificate preparation.
- Handle routine administrative matters and special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with and mentor junior paralegals.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Firm information security and data protection policies.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
- Thorough knowledge of the corporate transaction process.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a highly responsive approach.
- Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring or collaborating with junior paralegals.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw, Intelligize, Bloomberg Law, and Adobe.
- New York State Notary Public license and prior leadership experience are preferred.
