Financial Systems Support Analyst

📍 New York, NY | Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking a Financial Systems Support Analyst to provide technical and functional support for the Firm’s Aderant financial systems and related applications. This role focuses on system maintenance, user support, data integrity, SQL querying, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Aderant Expert or 3E, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced professional environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily technical and functional support for Aderant financial systems and related applications, including time entry, cost recovery, and financial reporting.

• Troubleshoot system issues, escalate complex problems to senior analysts or vendors, and document resolutions and support procedures.

• Assist users with system navigation, functionality, and technical inquiries.

• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and related applications.

• Develop and execute ad hoc SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.

• Identify and resolve cost recovery upload errors.

• Run standard SSRS reports and respond to ad hoc reporting requests from the Business Finance team.

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, SSRS reports, dashboards, and Power BI reports.

• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and operational reporting.

• Support financial system integrations and APIs to help maintain reliable system functionality.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree-level qualification in computing or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience supporting Aderant Expert, 3E, or comparable professional services practice management software.

• Experience with SSRS and/or Power BI.

• Experience supporting financial system integrations and APIs.

• Strong SQL querying, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to support requests in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional, timely user support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Aderant Framework or other legal financial systems.

• Familiarity with Chrome River, Intapp Time, Legal360, or similar legal applications.

• Experience supporting large, multi-office law firms.

• Previous experience in the legal industry.
