Senior Litigation Paralegal

 

 

A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling sophisticated and complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience and be comfortable managing significant case responsibilities from inception through discovery, trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeals. IP litigation experience is a plus.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support complex litigation matters from inception through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeals.
  • Organize and manage documents for discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and trial.
  • Manage large-scale document collections and maintain comprehensive case files.
  • Monitor court dockets and track important case deadlines.
  • Coordinate with litigation support and e-discovery vendors.
  • Conduct factual research and prepare written summaries and case materials.
  • Prepare deposition notices, subpoenas, witness files, and deposition materials.
  • Assist with pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
  • Bluebook, cite-check, proofread, and finalize legal filings.
  • Coordinate electronic filing and service of process.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, and courtroom logistics.
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support professionals.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous law firm experience preferred.
  • IP litigation experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management.
  • Experience with Relativity and Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred.
  • Federal and state electronic filing experience preferred.
  • Strong Bluebook, cite-checking, and proofreading skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex matters and deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime, including on short notice when necessary.
