Litigation Paralegal
📍 Location: Miami, FL

What You’ll Do:

Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through post-trial and appeal proceedings.

Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.

Manage complex discovery processes, including review and production of electronically stored information (ESI).

Coordinate and support depositions, including preparation of expert materials.

Draft pleadings, motions, notices, and assist in preparing law and motion filings.

Perform cite-checking, proofreading, and formatting of legal documents.

Prepare trial materials including trial notebooks, exhibits, witness schedules, and manage logistics.

Assist with post-trial filings and appeals.

Coordinate and manage document review platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, or LAW.

Electronically file pleadings through CM/ECF (federal) and the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal (statewide).

Track daily billable time and support other litigation department initiatives as needed.
What You’ll Bring:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm environment.

Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification required.

Expertise in federal and state court procedural and evidentiary rules.

Familiarity with bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation is a plus.

Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus.

Proficiency in:

Legal Software: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Relativity, Concordance, LAW, Best Case

Document Management Systems: iManage (preferred)

E-Filing Systems: CM/ECF (Federal) and Florida Court e-Filing Portal (Statewide)
