K. Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout. In this role, you’ll manage quality, schedule, and budget throughout every phase of construction. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, field teams, and clients to deliver thoughtful, high-performing solutions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with a Project Executive to plan and manage all phases of construction
  • Maintain strong lines of communication with clients, subcontractors, field and BIM teams
  • Support field staff by ensuring they have accurate and timely information
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and labor tracking to keep projects on course
  • Lead internal coordination meetings and prepare detailed look-ahead schedules
  • Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to the team’s overall strength
  • Continuously seek smarter, more efficient ways to deliver outstanding results
 
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection)
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects in a lead or co-lead role
  • A strong technical foundation and understanding of MEP/FP systems
  • Proven ability to build trust with field teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Sage, or Timberscan is a plus
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to grow, improve, and lead by example
