Designated Inspector – Aircraft Maintenance & Repair

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and quality checks on aircraft, engines, and components in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
  • Ensure airworthiness and safety by meticulously reviewing maintenance, repair, and alteration work.
  • Maintain proficiency in inspection methods, techniques, and tools used in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensure that inspection tools and equipment are calibrated, functional, and properly documented.
  • Thoroughly document inspection findings, maintenance records, and return-to-service approvals.
  • Stay up to date with inspection tolerances, procedures, and quality control requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Supervisor and Chief Inspector to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You Bring to the Team:

Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Powerplant required, Airframe recommended).
Minimum 3 Years of Aviation Maintenance Experience.
Strong Knowledge of FAA Regulations, CFR 145 Repair Stations (EASA & CAA a plus).
Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney Engines (PW300, PW500, PW600, PW800, JT15D, PT6A) preferred.
Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Diagnostic Skills.
Ability to Work on a Team in a Fast-Paced Environment.
Proficiency in Computer Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Aviation Maintenance Software).
Physical Capability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Ability to Pass a Security Background Check.
  • U.S. Citizenship & At Least 18 Years of Age.
  • Participation in a DOT Safety-Sensitive Drug Program.
