REQUIRED: MUST HAVE EXPIERENCE WORKING FOR NURSING HOME/LONG TERM CARE ORGANIZATION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations across a multi-location healthcare network.
  • Manage and mentor an experienced AP team, promoting performance, growth, and accountability.
  • Review and reconcile vendor accounts; resolve discrepancies with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships and issue resolution.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve AP workflows and systems to increase scalability and efficiency.
  • Manage AP-related month-end close activities including accruals and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Support audits, process automation projects, and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE NURSING HOME/LONG TERM CARE EXPIERENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounts payable or financial operations.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial capacity.
  • Proficiency in RHS Visual EMR is required.
  • Strong grasp of AP best practices, process controls, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience in long-term care, nursing homes, or healthcare finance is strongly preferred.
