Energy Manager - Plant Level
Must have at least (3-5) years of experience working on energy conservation projects along with a strong understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Engineering degree required
Responsible for improving energy efficiency across the Cleveland production site. This role with own the planning, execution and continuous enhancement of energy performance (leveraging data, analytics, engineering expertise, auditing and cross functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact). Influence strategy, identify cost saving opportunities, lead ISO 50001 initiatives, and partner with teams across the organization to help drive long term energy cost and sustainability goals.
Major Accountabilities: lead the energy management system in alignment with ISO 50001 principles; build strong partnerships with plant teams to uncover operational efficiency opportunities; maintain and enhance energy performance indicators, baselines and improvement targets; conduct energy assessments and audits across industrial processes and systems; manage the integration and optimization of energy monitoring software and dashboards; strong understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical systems (thermal processes, compressed air systems; dust collection; air make up units; pumps & fans).
