Our client, a premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Career Attorney to join their Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex regulatory litigation and high-stakes enforcement matters in a practice known for its strategic, multidisciplinary approach and national impact.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
- 2–5 years of experience within a State Attorney General's Office
- Significant trial experience required
- Strong understanding of civil investigative demands, regulatory enforcement actions, and government investigations
- Familiarity with multistate investigations and coordination among state regulatory agencies
- Background handling investigative, litigation, or enforcement matters involving government entities
- Demonstrated research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters while maintaining attention to detail
- Sound judgment and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service
- Collaborative professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with California, New York, or Texas Attorney General offices is particularly desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in state and federal regulatory litigation, including administrative proceedings and consumer class litigation

Assist with civil investigative demands, regulatory inquiries, and enforcement proceedings
- Support internal and external investigations, including regulatory and enforcement matters
- Develop strategies for navigating complex compliance, regulatory, and enforcement issues
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and related litigation documents
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to provide practical, business-focused legal advice
- Manage trial preparation, hearings, and other courtroom engagements
- Coordinate with cross-office teams on multifaceted regulatory and enforcement matters

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $100,000 – $175,000, as determined by experience and market factors
