Remote Freight Sales Executive – Specialized Transportation

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: $80K–$100K base + commission/bonuses

Our client is a mid-sized specialized transportation company providing flatbed, heavy haul, and complex freight solutions nationwide. With a strong dispatch and operations team based in Syracuse, NY, they are looking to add a proven freight sales professional who can bring and grow shipper relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of shipper business
  • Prospect and develop new shipper accounts
  • Sell specialized transportation solutions
  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements
  • Work closely with operations/dispatch to ensure smooth load execution
  • Track pipeline, activity, and revenue growth

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience
  • Must bring an active, transferable book of business
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills
  • Self-starter comfortable working fully remote
  • Experience with CRM and standard sales tools

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience specifically in specialized freight, including:

  • Open Deck
  • Step Deck
  • Double Drop
  • Over Dimensional (OD)
  • Multi-Axle Freight
